Have you heard you don't get exercise on an E-bike? Here's what makes the haters wrong.

There's a common misconception out there that if you ride an e-bike you won't get exercise. I hear it all the time.

Then I say “Well it has pedals on it so you can pedal it just like a regular bike." And then they say “Oh yeah, but it's harder to pedal than a regular bike.” And I say, "well I thought you wanted to get some exercise." And then they're like "yeah, but if I had an e-bike and it had power I'd never pedal it.” And I'd say, “Oh, so you're gonna give up all the benefits of riding an e-bike because you might want to use them too much. That's like saying you aren't gonna take your car 10 miles to the grocery store because you don't get any exercise in it. How about walking to la? It's 45 miles from here. That'd be some great exercise.”

The fact is you're gonna be riding and pedaling your E-bike for a lot longer and a lot more often than a regular bike. So you will be getting more exercise by default. Thinking you don't get exercise on an e-bike is the silliest thing I've ever heard, but I guess haters are gonna hate.
